I was out for a walk at lunch time recently, a beautiful Spring day in Limerick. I spotted this rower leaning back and taking in the sun after what must’ve been a fairly tough session. When he had a bit of rest, he took off again. Apart from the birds, there was no noise – a great day for a bit of time alone in the middle of the Shannon.

The black bridge in UL. During the recent floods, the water was right up to the bottom of the walk way – you actually couldn’t see any light under the bridge. The bridge seems to be closed now – I assume this is because of all of the debris that is caught underneath.

Paul O’Connell wins a lineout during training at UL for the Heineken Cup Round 4 Pool match against French side Perpignan. This was the first time I ever managed to get out to see Munster train. I was suprised to see that they record everything – presumably for analysis after training. Hat Tip to Ger for giving me a call to let me know they were on campus.

Very much like yesterday’s photo. I prefer this one myself – still, nothing great. Ideas? Opinions? Comments?

Apologies in advance – this photo and tomorrows photo are very similar!
