Another grafitti shot. This one acurately represents the general quality of my photos – “crap…”
I have a few more shots from the worldwide photo walks in Limerick and Adare to put up over the next week or so. At this stage, I’m out of ideas, so I’m going to have to start over, this time I’ll be taking photos of the more mundane parts of everyday life. Things like Toasters and Cornflakes.
Some grafitti on a bin in Limerick. I have done a little bit of work on this photo… changing the word “Bruscar” to “Brutal”.
There was a great fireworks display for the end of the Riverfest 2009 festival last night. The display took place over Curraghgower Falls in Limerick. I managed to get a few good shots, but unfortunately I was a little bit too close to the action for my widest lens.
There was a fairly big crowd of onlookers, a huge amount of whom had their Munster gear on. Great to see considering the result on Saturday and all this “Munster Bandwagon” talk that has been going on lately.
To be 100% honest, I think the bike looks rotten – especially with all the stickers. But it did sound gorgeous. It’s a tape recorder I need and not a camera!
These Mannequins are the sole remaining occupants of Sasha on Shop St., Galway. The company behind Sasha went into liquidation last month. Sasha had been in operation for 27 years and had 42 outlets here in Ireland. It closed with the loss of 300 jobs around the country.
