Paul was so enthusiastic at the idea of having his own portable Khazi that he tried to remove this one from the paddock in Galway! 😉

A classic wheel design by BBS. I’ve always loved the design of BBS wheels – for me they evoke thoughts of famous racing teams, cars and drivers from all around the world. This particular wheel is on the front of a 2.8 litre BMW, has done about eighty thousand miles, is covered in brake dust and the BMW roundel has cracked and faded from the constant heating of hard braking and cooling of 60 Mph winds. The way its meant to be.
A brief history of BBS involvement in motorsport here!

This the fifth shot in a series of photos of same burnt out Micra taken at night. This is taken from the back of the car. The light trail to the left was me walking away with the torch. Unfortunately this is completely out of focus – I moved the camera and forgot to focus again. 🙁

This the fourth shot in a series of photos of same burnt out Micra taken at night. This time the car is painted using the led wand. The red tint is from the tail lights of the five.

This the third shot in a series of photos of same burnt out Micra taken at night. This image is just painted with a small halogen torch. The inside of the car is lit by an LED wand torch.

This is part of a series of shots of same burnt out Micra taken at night. I lit the inside of the car with an LED wand torch and drew the outline (badly) with a small handheld halogen torch. The red glow is from the tail lights of my five.

I was very disappointed to see this burnt out box-shaped Micra at one of the entrances to Curraghchase – along with a bag of empty cans dumped beside it. In case you are trying to figure out the Derelicte reference – it relates to Zoolander. “Derelicte” was the title of the fashion show that Mugatu asked Zoolander to take part in (to assasinate the Prime Minister of Malaysia). Great movie!

This is the last shot in the series. Again, this is a six second exposure, but this time I was using a small BMW torch out of the glove box.
