Yep, it’s that time of year again. Limerick is covered in Cherry Blossom & Daffodils – nice to see a bit of colour after another hard Winter. Also taken on the recent Limerick Photowalk.

Another shot taken on the recent Limerick Photowalk. This is the canopy over The Milk Market in Limerick. It’s an impressive structure – it keeps the rain out, which makes browsing the stalls a lot more comfortable on those wet winter days. This shot is only a tribute to the “five million” other people who have taken the same photo! Search for “Limerick Milk Market” on Google or Flickr and you’ll see what I mean!

Given my obsession with all things Munster Rugby, i’m really suprised it’s taken me so long to post a photo of Thomond Park. I made it along to a Limerick Photowalk organised by Patrick Dinneen via Photowalk.ie. It was great to put faces to names and meet some new people. I really enjoyed  the walk and hope to make it along to a few more of the photowalk.ie walks soon!

I was out for a walk at lunch time recently, a beautiful Spring day in Limerick. I spotted this rower leaning back and taking in the sun after what must’ve been a fairly tough session. When he had a bit of rest, he took off again. Apart from the birds, there was no noise – a great day for a bit of time alone in the middle of the Shannon.

Two neglected boats lie at the edge of the Corrib at the Claddagh Community Boat Club in Galway city. I took this with my trusty old 30D while out and about for a weekend with the Nokia N8. I have to say – this took a bit more processing than the photos from the N8… doesn’t say much for my photography skills!
