Part of a park bench in the park here in Adare. Nothing remarkable – I just liked the combination of lines and curves.

This is about to become a familiar sight in Irish homes at this time of year.
My GrooveShark plugin is acting up again – I was going to attach “Marino Waltz” – By the Dubliners. You can find it here – listen and you’ll understand what I’m getting at (if you are Irish or lived here during the 80’s).
Update: The colour just looks wrong on this. The RAW file is perfect (even if I do say so myself). But the second I open it in Photoshop for cropping, it just looks flat. Ideas anyone?
There must have been a spectacular view from this cottage back when it was in it’s prime. A shot from Slea Head, just a few miles outside Dingle Co. Kerry.
One of two guys Surfing Com Dhíneol beach on Slea Head – outside Dingle. He’s nearly as good as me! 😉 (I wish)
The morning sun burns though the last of the fog in Dingle Bay.
There is a natural (?) vignette in this shot – probably something to do with the fact that I was shooting in the general direction of the sun (just made that part up). But it’s not something I normally encounter with my kit lens. It really stands out after the post processing. Any recommendations?
Saw these leaves on the ground when I was out for lunch yesterday. Just liked the colours. Again, I’m not sure about the post processing – the image looks really overexposed on one monitor and very underexposed on the other – and they’ve both been calibrated. Don’t know what’s going on!
I don’t mean I’m turning a corner in my life… I mean literally driving around a corner at Punches Cross, here in Limerick. The camera was mounted on a superclamp with double ball head, on the roof rail of the five. I actually can’t claim this one as my own, because technically Kev pressed the button! I did have an input (the camera, mount, car, diesel and driver), but Kev took the photo.
Unfortunately this has given me a taste for rig shots… if anyone feels like donating some money to the fund, you know how to contact me!And if anyone has a spare 10-20mm lens going cheap – I know of a good home for it!! 😉
Thanks to Kev for the advice and generally putting expensive bad ideas in my head!
