One final shot from Athea.
The speed in Athea at the weekend was absolutely incredible. I was at the races before, but only saw one low speed corner. Standing at the top of the hill by the paddock the speed these guys were travelling at was nothing short of absolutely mental considering they didn’t have a car around them.
… but a Zetor is better. A phrase that SÃofra often says for some unknown reason. I managed to get a shot of the two in one place at one time! Excuse the over-processed look of this one.
Now, I love going sideways – mostly in the car, occasionally on the lawn mower (a long time ago). But it was only at a BLMRA demo in Charleville that I realised exactly how funny it looks!
No. 5, whoever you are, well done!
You don’t see too many of these around these days – very rare! More info on Lagonda here.
Sunlight falls on the Shannon Estuary. If you look at the land in the background, you can see a tiny structure on the right hand side of the photo – that’s the control tower of Shannon Airport! Taken from Ringmoylan Pier.
