I took this very early one morning last July (I think) leaving Kinsale with Anne, Chris and SÃofra. A lucky shot given how little I know about photography! We were delivering the boat Anne and Chris were racing at Cork Week.

Took this shot from the Clare end of the Living Bridge in UL. The bridge is an impressive structure when you see it during the day – but it looks like something from another planet when it’s lit up at night.

This is the last shot in the series. Again, this is a six second exposure, but this time I was using a small BMW torch out of the glove box.

This is a slightly abstract shot – a six second exposure taken in the dark. I used a mini-maglite as the light source. I also zoomed out during the shot. I’d be tempted to try this again using a few different light sources.

Another shot of the car – this time it’s one of the BMW Motorsport (///M) branded sill protectors (kick plates to you and me). I was getting out of the car and just happened to be thinking what a state it was in. This shot prompted me to take a series of other shots of the car, which I will post over the next day or two.
